Actually, there are still a few hunter and gatherer populations remaining in our world. And among those populations, diseases such as high blood pressure, cancer, heart diseases and diabetes virtually does not exist.
There are of course other paths to a healthy diet, but we need to remember one thing:
It’s important for us that we don’t fall for the fad diet gimmicks (low-fat, grapefruit diet, soup diets etc), and understand that we, as humans, are meant to eat a balanced diet full of a diverse array of foods from healthy natural sources of carbohydrates, proteins, AND fats.
This gives your body all of the macro-nutrients as well as all of the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and enzymes that your body needs to run like a well-oiled fat-burning machine!
